PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Working in fast-paced distribution facility, perform a variety of janitorial, custodial, and/or security tasks to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds while meeting Ace performance standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Drives through the entire facility collecting waste/trash, operating compactors and balers, cleans up spills, and performs all duties associated with battery charging and changing.
Drives through the facility, dumps trash into containers, compacts/bales trash, and moves bales to storage. Clears cardboard jams in the overhead conveyor. Cleans up all spills. Landscaping, shovels snow, uses snow blower, sweeps walks. Assists battery charging and battery changing in all electrically powered trucks. Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.
